E. Louise Bell, 77, Of Muncie, IN went to be with the Lord Saturday October, 11, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 30, 1931in Kentucky, the daughter of Lee and Dovie (Martin) Criswell. On December 20, 1952in Monticello, KY, she married Obie Bell.
She loved to cook gardening, canning making quilts and doing all sorts of crafts. Louise was a member of the Heritage Apostolic Tabernacle.
Surviving relatives include her husband of 55 years Obie Bell of Muncie, four sons, Scott Bell (wife Nikole) of Albany, Mack Bell of New Castle, Alvin Bell of Muncie and Mark Bell (wife Janet) of Parker City, three daughters, Luella Chesher (husband John) of New Castle, Lorranie Bell of New Castle and Mary Jane Curnutt of New Castle, ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, brother Jarvis Criswell of KY, two sisters, Bernice Coffee of KY and Hazel Slagle of KY, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents, daughter Delores Bell, two brothers, Willard Criswell and Dillard Criswell, two sisters, Jewell Criswell and Pauline Winchester, daughter-in-law, Teresa Bell, Son-in-law, Roger Curautt
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday October 17 , 2008 At the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, Indiana, 47303. Pastor Mike Purdue will officiate the service. Viewing will be on Friday October 17, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
