Lucille Christy Moore, 85, of Hartford City, died Friday morning, January 4th, 2013 at Lutheran Health Network in Ft. Wayne. She was born March 8th, 1927 in Huntington West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Arvile Lee & Eloise (Spurlock) Christy.

Lucille was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed traveling over the road with her husband John. She was a member of the Full Gospel Temple in Muncie, where she taught Sunday School and Children''s Church for over 20 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 ½ years John R. Moore of Hartford City; four grandchildren, Robert Orr (Wedda Thomas) of Hartford City, David Orr of Montpelier, Christy Manor (Tim) of Portland, and Sandra Orr (Will Smith) of Noblesville; seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; a brother Junior Christy of Huntington, W.VA.; a son-in-law Richard Orr of Hartford City. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters Eugenia Mae Orr and Jean Ann Atkins, a brother Whimp Christy also preceded her in death.

Funeral Services for Lucille will be held Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Temple, 212 W.7th Street, Muncie, with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at the church. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer''s Association with envelopes provided at the church. Arrangements have been placed in the care and trust of Garden View Funeral Home.
