Mable F. Daugherty, 78 of Muncie, died early Thursday morning, October 30th, 2014 at The Woodlands. She was born June 9th, 1936 in Carlos, IN and was the daughter of the late Robert Voyle & Vera M. (Cox) Gard.
Mable enjoyed reading, watching soap operas, and NASCAR. She enjoyed ironing and working at the Eagles Lodge in Muncie. She retired from Ball Memorial Hospital Housekeeping in 1999. Mable loved taking care of her family.
Mable is survived by her five children; Tony Golliher (Brenda) of Muncie, Brian Golliher (Darlena Rogers) of Muncie, John Golliher Jr. (Gina) of Williamsburg, Jackie Smith (Steve) of Muncie, and Vicki Ring (Billy) of Muncie; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; a brother Robert "Bob" Gard of Union City; a sister Alice Mae Cross (Robert "Bobby" Jr.) of Muncie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Marvin, Marion, and Donald Gard.
Funeral Services for Mable will be held Monday, November 3rd, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Bruce Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11: 00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
