Mable C. Tremaine, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away surrounded by her family. Born in LaFollette, Tennessee, to Luther and Katie (Kyle) Sharp, Mable married Charles Tremaine on July 21st, 1947.
She worked as a cashier at Ball State University and cherished her family above all else. Mable's warmth and love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Mable is survived by her son, Jimmie Tremaine( wife, Vicky); daughter, Carolyn Sorg (husband, Mark) grandchildren, Jason Ludwick (wife, Amy), James Tremaine (wife, Shelia), Holly Tremaine, Joshua Tremaine, Johnny Tremaine, and Tyler Sorg; step-grandson, Chad Sorg; great grandchildren, Austin Ludwick, Keith Gainer, Tylen Sorg, Lucas Tremaine, Audra Ludwick, Abby Ludwick, and Brooke Gainer; step-grandson, Charlie Sexton; ; great-great grandchildren, Maddox Bright, Alayna Willoughby, Sterling Wright, and Maverick Wright; and step-great-great-granddaughter, Olivia Sexton
Mable is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Charles Tremaine; her parents' Luther and Katie (Kyle) Sharp;son, Gary Tremaine; siblings, Glenn Sharp, Ruby Lyons, and Vechael Guild; grandson, Travis Tremaine; and great-granddaughter, Alyssa Stephens.
Family and friends may call at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd. 3, Muncie IN 47303, on Monday, January 13th, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Josh Johnson officiating at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
