Margaret Ann Logan Morford McConnell, 81, of Muncie, IN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 3:40 PM at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. She was born on September 6, 1926 the daughter of the late Robert and Frances (Mastin) Logan.
Margaret retired from Kerr Glass in Dunkirk. She also enjoyed fishing and camping. She attended Northside Assembly of God Church.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Wayne McConnell of Albany; daughters, Carolyn Sue Conaway (husband - Richard W.) of Muncie, Barbara Lemm (husband - Aubrey) of Kerrville, TX; step-daughter, Jane Reynolds of St. Henry, OH; step-sons, Richard McConnell (wife - Susanne) of Albany, James E. McConnell of MS; sisters, Thelma Blumenhorst (husband - LeRoy) of Dunkirk, Dorothy Gray (husband - Elden) of Boise, ID; 7 grandchildren, Lisa Carmichael (husband - Jon) of Muncie, Michael Conaway (wife - Jill) of Indianapolis, Richard M. Conaway (wife - Katharine) of Atlanta, GA, Laura Walton of Dallas, TX, Holly Miller of Ft. Wayne, Brandy Miller of Dallas, TX, Amber Blazi (husband - Greg) of TX; four step-grandchildren, Matthew Bonin of St. Henry, OH, Shila Bonin, U.S. Air Force, stationed in FL, Sherri Rechert of Muncie, Nicole Harmon of Red Key. Ten great-grandsons, four great-granddaughters, one step great-grandson, and three step great-granddaughters. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Joseph Gibson, and one brother, Perry M. Logan.
Services are scheduled for 11:30 AM on Friday, February 16, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN with Reverend Carlton Bowden officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM on Friday, February 16, 2007 at the funeral home.
