Margaret A. Anderson, 64, was reunited with her beloved husband Thursday evening, January 6, 2011 at her home.
She was born June 27, 1946 in Muncie, the daughter of Della (Maynard) Thrasher and James Thrasher.
Margaret attended Muncie schools and earned her G.E.D. in 1991. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Margaret worked for Muncie Cleaners. She was a former member of Eagles Lodge, F.O.E. #231.
Margaret leaves behind one son, Arthur "Doug" Anderson, (wife-Sally), Muncie; three daughters, Rhonda Bonish, (husband-Frank), Lyman, Maine; Lana Higdon, (husband-Keith), Muncie and Susan "Susie" Taylor, (husband-Eric), Daleville; seven grandchildren, Jessie Oliphant, (fianc-Nate); Kayla Anderson; Cami Taylor; Megan Taylor; Shane Thibodeau; Abby Thibodeau; and Krysta Colwell; one great-grandson, James Michael Oliphant; two brothers, Frank Thrasher, Muncie and Junior Thrasher, (wife-Joyce), Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Anderson, who passed away October 24, 2009; her parents; one step-daughter; three sisters; and two brothers.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Minister Brenda Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday or after 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
