Marilyn S. Naylor, 83, of Muncie, passed away at 1:48 pm, on January 15, 2026 at Community Hospital Anderson.  She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on May 24, 1942, to Maurice and Beulah Swander.  On December 12, 1964, she married William Naylor, who survives.

Marilyn graduated from Yorktown High School and graduated from Ball State University with her Masters in Education. She taught in the business department for Yorktown High School for 35 years until she retired in 1997.

She enjoyed bowling on Monday nights, golfing with her friends, and going on cruise trips with her husband, William and lots of friends.  She was the sweetest, most loving person you'd ever meet.  She will be remembered by her loving family for her broccoli rice cheese casserole.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William Naylor, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 IN-3, Muncie, Indiana 47303.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service celebrating Marilyn's life will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Robert Fair officiating.  Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Muncie.
