Marjorie (McMichael) Herron, 77, passed away Wednesday, April 08, 2015, at her home in Muncie, Indiana.
Marjorie was born March 19, 1938 in Muncie to the late Raymond and Marjorie Rainey. She graduated from Muncie Central High School. She worked for Muncie Novelty and later worked for Werts Novelty, retiring in 2000. Marjorie enjoyed crocheting. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by four children, Michael McMichael (friend Heidi Wickline) of Muncie, Rusty McMichael (wife Patricia) of Akron, OH, Brian McMichael (wife Bonnie) of Farmland, and Renee Batt (husband Daniel) of Muncie; four siblings, Janet Walker (husband Jim), Charlene Thurman, Patsy Bragg (husband Jack), and Ernie Rainey (wife Ruthann); 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband of 45 years, Earl McMichael; and her second husband of 11 years, George Herron.
A funeral service to celebrate Marjorie''s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 13, 2015 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, April 12, 2015 and also one hour prior to services Monday at Garden View Funeral Home.
