Marjorie Maxine Van Deusen was born March 15, 1915 in Adams County, IN to Earl and Hattie Finfrock Haviland. She died in Lebanon, MO on May 30, 2008. She married Lee H. Van Deusen on November 25, 1935, and they made their home in Muncie, IN. From May 1996 until her death she made her home in Lebanon, MO with her daughter, Sandra. Her husband, parents, one sister Lucille Wood and two brothers Glen E. Haviland and Richard Haviland preceded her in death. She leaves behind two daughter, Sandra Musice of Lebanon, MO and Margie Snyder and husband Thom of Lake Havasau City, Arizona, one sister Virginia Hammitt of Kings Mountain, N.C., one brother Paul Haviland and wife Doris of Seattle, Washington, three grandchildren Lynne Holt and husband David, Jerry V. Musice and wife Nancy of Lebanon, MO, and Phillip Snyder of Albuquerque, N.M. Also, 5 great grandchildren, Karissa Jaynes and husband Ryan of Battlefield, MO, Ashton Holt, Shelby Musice, Katlyn Musice and Casey Musice of Lebanon, MO, a great-great granddaughter Jadzia Jaynes of Battlefield, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Hazelwood Christian Church in Muncie, IN and a charter member and officer of the Aux Arcs Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Colonists. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 3, 2008 at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Women's Organization at Hazelwood Christian Church in Muncie, IN.
