Marsha K. Likens passed away on June 5, 2009 at Ball Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.
Marsha was born to John Roby and Reba (Granny) Boyle on October 7, 1951 in Muncie.
Marsha attended Muncie Southside High School, graduating in 1969. She was employed at Ball Memorial Hospital as a Staffing Coordinator.
Marsha was member of Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Likens; one son, Matt Likens (wife-Shelley), Muncie; one daughter, Jennifer Drake (husband-James), Rushville; four sisters, Phyllis Edwards (husband-A.B.), Betty Allison, Linda Woolums-Reed (special friend-Jack) and Mary Jo Hickman, all of Muncie; seven grandchildren, Brittany Drake, Brittany Jones, Kaleigh Likens, Karmin Likens, John Thomas Likens, Emily Drake, and Sammy Drake; and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Eddie, Donnie, Larry; and one sister, Sue.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. in The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Bruce Reynolds officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd 3, Muncie.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel on Monday, June 8, 2009, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
