Martha Leigh Friar, 58 of Muncie, died Thursday morning, July 13, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born March 8, 1959 in Muncie and is the daughter of Daniel Dean & Virginia C. (Cruz) Eldridge and the late Richard Allen Friar.
Martha was very loving, outgoing and had a witty sense of humor. She had a personality that drew people to her. Every person she came in contact with fell in love with her. Martha''s greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family. Her favorite pastime was coloring beautiful pictures.
Martha is survived by her loving parents Daniel Dean & Virginia C. (Cruz) Eldridge of Muncie; two sisters Marsha L. Morris (Greg) of West Palm Beach, FL and Mona R. Ross (Chris) of Muncie; a niece Melia A. Ozbun (Shawn) of Muncie; a nephew Jordan M. Ross of Gas City; special friend and care giver Charlene Brannon of Muncie. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a niece Angela C. Ross.
Funeral Services for Martha will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Carder officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 12: 00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
