Martha Lou Wise Walker beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away on Monday, October 9 at Indiana Health Ball Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Martha was born September 28, 1936, to John R and Ethel J Reynolds Wise in Boston Indiana. As a young girl, Martha managed the snack bar at the Rivoli Theater. She was a homemaker for several years before working as produce manager at Ross corner grocery. Martha loved being with her family, was a great cook, growing beautiful flowers, loved singing church hymns and was a big Colts fan. She attended church when her health permitted and also the senior citizens center.

She is survived by two daughters, Sidney Kinard, Griffin GA, Rhonda Smith (Ronnie), Hartford City IN and brother, Jack (Peggy) Wise, seven beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Three sons, Robert, Jack and Jerry Walker, her siblings, Robert, Claude, James, John Junior Wise and Marjorie Jean Walker.
Services will be held, at 12:00 p.m. Friday October 13, 2023, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 SR-3, Muncie, Indiana 47303 with pastor Danny Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
