Mary E. Ball, 94, of Muncie, IN died Friday February 6, 2009 at The Woodlands Nursing Home in Muncie, IN. She was born on September 5, 1915 the daughter of William Charles and Edna F. (Gillock) Jones. On November 27, 1937 in Springport, IN she married Arthur A. Ball who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Eastern Star 104 and associate member of Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority. She was Guardian of Bethel 25 Jobs Daughters. She worked at Keller Ritchie Insurance for several years.
Surviving relatives include one daughter Linda Kay O''Brien (husband: Richard) of Richland, Washington; two grandsons Kevin O''Brien (wife: Terran) and Mathew O''Brien both of Richland, Washington; one sister, Ellen Nixon (husband: Ronald) of Daleville, IN. one great grandchild Teagan and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and two sisters.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 10, 2009 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Dennis Trimble will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
