Mary Helen (Myers) Buckner, 86, went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, August 18th, 2022 at home following a long illness.

Mary was born on July 1st 1936 to Lena and Howard Myers. She graduated from Dunkirk High School and was a life residence of the Dunkirk area.

Mary loved to sew, work in the garden, bake her famous pies, play cards and travel the world. But nothing topped the love she had for her family.

Mary is survived by her Husband Lyle, of 67 years.. Three sons, Jeff (Toddi) of Dunkirk, Greg (Julie) of Dunkirk, Tim (Lisa) of Muncie and daughter-in-law Glenda of Crown Point. Brother Bob (Fran) of Muncie, sister in law Julayne Myers of Alexandria and Mary Jane of Syracuse along with her 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lena and Howard Myers of Dunkirk, brothers Don Myers of Alexandria and Dick Myers of Syracuse. Son Mike Buckner and grandson, Thomas Lyle Buckner.

Calling will be August 24, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at 10501 N. St. Rd. 3, Muncie, IN. Service will be at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Damon Soper. Burial will at Gardens Of Memory Cemetery.
