Mary Agnes "Jo" Crouse, 88, of Muncie, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 while in Morrison Woods.  Mary was born and raised in Oakville, IN, the daughter of Paul and Myrtle (Brown) Burgess.  Mary attended Cowan School district.

Mary was an avid Christian and attended Oakville Brethren Church.   She loved watching the Pacers play basketball.  She also loved her dog, Sammy.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend that will be missed by many.  Those include her loving daughters: Jerri (Joseph "Mike") Whited and Joy (James "Bill") Lowe; daughter-in-law, Diana (companion, Hal Coffel) Lowe Crouse; sister, Martha Burgess; grandchildren: Melissa Crouse, Christopher Lowe, Erick Lowe, Rachel Whited, and Michelle Lowe; great-grandchildren: Oliver Lowe and Penelope Lowe; many nieces and nephews; and lifetime family friend, Dena Cooper.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl "Hook" Crouse; son, Dane Crouse; siblings: Ray Burgess, George Burgess, and Bethel Craig; granddaughter, Angela Whited; and great-granddaughter, Leah Lowe.
