Mary Jane Cull, 92, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Liberty Village after a brief illness.
She was born March 28, 1917, in Muncie, the daughter of James R. and Nellie Leona (Wray) Claxon.
Mary Jane was a Nurse for 41 years and retired in 1981 as Director of Nurses with Visiting Nurses Association.
She was a Member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority and a 25 year member of a Euchre Club.
She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Michael Cull, (wife-Revia), Richmond; a daughter, Sally Hayden, (husband-Jim), Muncie; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert H. Cull.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Harris Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 10450 S. CR 544 E, Selma, IN 47383 with Rev. James Ballenger officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
