Mary Frances Flowers, 95, of Muncie, died Tuesday morning, September 25th, 2012 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born October 6th, 1916 in Muncie, IN., and was the daughter of the late William E. & Mabel C. (Hammer) Dingley. Mary was a member of the First Brethren Church. She retired in 1975 from Ball State University. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by two children, Michael Lee (Beverly) Flowers Sr. of Ft. Meyers, FL, and Bonita Caroline (Merlyn) Houk of Muncie; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Orval G. Flowers, son Gerald Flowers, infant son James Ray Flowers, grandson Glenn Houk, and sister Lucille Lantz. Funeral Services for Frances will be held Friday, September 28th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
