Mary Jane McCreery, 95, passed away on Friday May 20, 2022 at I. U. Ball Memorial Hospital  She was born October 29, 1926 in Muncie, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Edith "Jones" Crump.

She was an avid golfer, bowler, and card player. She loved to line dance and led the Ross Center Dancers for many years. She was and office for the class of 1944 Muncie Central and was Queen of T.C.R. Club in high school. She served as a Moose official for years and was an inductee into the Muncie WBA Hall of Fame. She also loved the outdoors, fishing and water skiing.  She was an exceptional  wife, mother, grand mother and great grand mother.

She is survived by her children John (Karen) McCreery of Albuquerque, NM., Jayne (Guy) Powers and Jackie McCreery both of Muncie, IN. 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special friends Dale & Nancy Foreman, Wilfred Brinker, Susie Fishback.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John McCreery and 2 brothers George Crump, Charles (Tiny) Crump and granddaughter Shannon Gibbs.

Calling will be on Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Garden View Funeral Home at 10501 N. St. Rd 3 Muncie, IN 47303. Service will be at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jeff Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Memorials may be given to donors choice.
