Mary Magdalene Moon, 91 of Muncie, died Sunday morning, March 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 10, 1926 in Jamestown, TN and was the daughter of the late Rose & Veary Bell (Pennicuff) Clayborn.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and sister. She loved to cook, garden, go camping, fishing, and really enjoyed talking on the phone keeping up with all her family.

Mary is survived by her three children, Mary Jarvis (Roger) of Muncie, Steve "Pete" Moon (Joy) of Farmland, and Phil Moon (Margaret) of La Pine, OR; nine grandchildren, April Sulfridge of Muncie, Annisa Parton (Jeremy) of Muncie, Sonja Shockney of Sellersburg, IN, Joshua Moon (Jessica) of Farmland, Anthony Moon (Stephanie) of La Pine, OR, Shelli Lee (Rick) of GA, Dana Hadley (Ryan) of Muncie, Dustin (Georgia) Corn of Muncie and Candace Martin (Richard) of Muncie; 24 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters Neva Moon of Byrdstown, TN , Nell Brown (Hack) and Lillian Hicks (Willie) both of Jamestown, TN; two brothers James Clayborn (Betty) and Ernest Clayborn (Marilyn) both of Jamestown, TN; a brother-in-law Arnold Moon (Ruth) of Clarksville, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Shelly K. Moon; a son Jerry K. Moon, three grandsons Jammie E. Moon, Kevin R. Jarvis, and Jeremy W. Moon; two brothers Claude "Oz" and Samuel Clayborn; a sister Thelma Hurt.
