Mary Belle Myers, 93, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at NHC Place in Franklin, TN.

She was born on October 8, 1924 to Frank and Mabel Monroe in Muncie, Indiana.  She was the fifth of nine children.  She graduated from Center High School in 1943.  She was secretary of her senior class and majored in business.

She married Lloyd C. Myers in 1946.  Their devoted marriage lasted 60 years.

She and her husband owned Lloyd's Shoes in the Muncie Mall for 17 years.  She kept the books for their store and was Lloyd's private secretary.

Mary Belle was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and taught others about Him.  She served faithfully in her church.  She was the quintessential homemaker, good at cooking, sewing and showing hospitality.  Most Sundays she would prepare a meal and invite others to come for "Sunday lunch".

Mary was a loving wife and mother who always remained actively involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by son Douglas (Renee), daughter Marcia Driskill (Ben) and daughter-in-law Kristen Myers; nine grandchildren, Jason Driskill, Nathan Driskill (Cynthia), Phillip Driskill (Kristen), Gabriel Myers, Hannah Finley (Patrick), Samara Brown (Nicholas), Elyssa Myers, Bob Myers and Katie Myers; five great grandchildren Abram Driskill, Evan Driskill, Ruby Driskill, Hazel Finley and Cora Finley; three sisters Emily Heath, Alice Huffman and Sandra Brown.  She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd C. Myers and son Gary Myers.
