Mary K. (Orcutt) Hayden 97

Mary K. (Orcutt) Hayden passed away peacefully Saturday night January 18, at Morrison Woods Health Campus. Her family was blessed to have her for 97 years.

Mary was born in Muncie, Indiana on July 21st, 1916 to George and Della (James) Orcutt. She attended Harrison Township Schools. Mary was married to F. Everett Hayden on December 24th, 1936 and they were married for 64 years until Everett''s death in 2001.

Mary was a fantastic homemaker who lovingly raised two children and was an excellent cook. She enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing with her husband Everett, spending time with her sisters, and needle point. She was a member of the Grandmother''s Club Chapter #79 and attended Riverside United Methodist Church for many years.

Mary is survived by her daughter and caregiver Marjorie A. Salisbury of Muncie and her son Everett R. Hayden (wife Rose)Kalamazoo, Michigan, six grandchildren, Denise (Steve) Lents, Douglas (Katherine) White, Amy (George) Patramanis, Andrew White, Leslie Ballentine, and Lisa (Eric) Jasiak, eight great-grandchildren, Abby and Nick Jasiak, Keaton and Corey Lents, Olivia Ballentine, and Madeline, Cecilia, and Lily Patramanis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Gerald, Fred, James, Dale, Clyde, Dorothy, Mildred and Pat and son-in-law Keith Salisbury.

Services will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Saturday January 25th. Calling hours are scheduled from 10:00 AM to Noon and the funeral will be at Noon. Burial will be private.
