Mary Ann Pack, 88, of Muncie, IN died July 22, 2007 at Beverly Living Center in Muncie. She was born on February 12, 1919 in Clarksburg, IN the daughter of Henry A. and Nellie (Ray) Tingle.
She was a member of the New Horizon Church of the Nazarene and the Creekwood Baptist Church in Muncie. She was like a grand mother to her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed being around people and was a very caring and loving lady who always had a smile on her face.
Surviving relatives include five nephews, Jerry Rodgers, Norman Rodgers, Roy Rodgers all of Muncie; Charles Thomas Beaver (wife: Diane) of Homewood, FL; and Danny Beaver (wife: Debi) of Largo, FL; five nieces, Debby Brogan (husband: Roger) of Yorktown, IN; Loretta Hinshaw (husband: Steve) of Yorktown, IN; Mary Ellen Phipps (husband: Gershal) of Muncie; Denise Hall (fianc: Gene) of Gary, IN; and Carolyn of Muncie. Also surviving are several great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Vickers; two brothers, Clarence Rodgers and John Tingle, and two sisters, Dorothy Beaver and Minnie Tingle; and one special friend, Les of Tennessee.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 24, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer''s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
