Mary Jane E. Romine, 83, of Albany,Indiana, passed away Thursday May 9, 2013, at her residence. She was born to Ernest F. and Genevieve R. (Schmedes) Kerley, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mary Jane was a speech and hearing therapist for the Jay School Corporation for 25 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church and I.S.T.A.-R and N.E.A.-R.
Survivors include loving husband of 35 years, Donald Lee Romine of Albany; children Louis (Roxanne) Wilkinson of Remington, Julie Ann (Mike) Motsenbocker of Muncie, Melissa Jane (Keith) Purkey of Anderson, step-sons Doug (Patty) Romine of Lake Forset, California, and Daniel Romine of Sarasota, Florida; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ernest L. Kerley.
Friends may call on Sunday May12, 2013, from 2-6 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. Indiana 3, Muncie.
Funeral services will be held on Monday May 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Neil Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
