Mary Louise Smith, age 84, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital.
Born in Muncie to the late Walter and Geraldine Miller, Mary was united in marriage to her loving husband, Norman Smith, in 1960. Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with love and memories.
Mary had a passion for shopping, rummaging, and traveling to Shipshewana, Indiana, to explore the flea markets. She enjoyed gathering with family and was known for her wonderful cooking. Mary also loved decorating her home for every season, bringing warmth and cheer to all who entered.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Norman Smith; son Timothy (Kathy) Smith; grandchildren Harmon Smith, Kami (Peter) Stanley, Storm Smith, Olivia Smith, and Jake Smith; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on through the love and kindness she shared with those around her.
A celebration of her life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice.
