Mary Kathleen Strong of Muncie, Indiana passed away at home at the age of 78 on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born on May 4, 1943 in Troy, Ohio to the late Waldo and Elsie Winifred (Trupp) Pence.

Mary graduated from high school and worked as a dispatcher for Marathon Oil Corporation. She married John Strong, and together they journeyed through life. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her dogs.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Dawn Sneed (Dwight) of Muncie, Indiana and Candy Traylor of Tennessee; nephew, Todd Pence; grandchildren, Jessica Sneed and Tim Sneed; and great grandchildren, Sophia Mathis, Natalyah Borson, and Maddlyn Vadala.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Waldo and Elsie Winifred (Trupp) Pence; husband, John Strong; brother, Bill Pence; and granddaughter, Angel Vadala.
