Mary Alice Trobridge of Matthews, Indiana passed away at the age of 80 the afternoon of Monday, May 31, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She was born on November 13,1940 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Ralph and Lavina (Boolman) Sheets.

Mary graduated from high school in 1958. She worked in healthcare in Muncie, Indiana. She met the love of her life, Richard Trobridge, and they married in the fall of 1959 in Portland, Indiana. Mary will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended First Community Church in Matthews, Indiana. She loved birds, gardening, crafts, and antique restoration. She was an avid reader. She was involved in scouting as a den mother for Troop 181.

Mary is survived by her sons, Richard Trobridge (Janene) of Wabash, Indiana and Clint A. Trobridge of Plainfield, Indiana and grandchildren, Alexander Trobridge and Katelyn Trobridge.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lavina (Boolman) Sheets; husband, Richard Trobridge; and brother, Albert Sheets.

Private services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, officiated by Joe Reberg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to any charitable organization of the donor's choice. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
