Maxine M. Propes, 95, of Albany, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Maxine was born March 15, 1919 in New Castle, IN to the late Tom and Etta White. She attended Dunkirk Schools and spent her life as a homemaker. Maxine enjoyed Euchre, Bingo, and spending time with family.

Maxine is survived by two sons, Don Pippin of St. Petersburg, FL and Rick Pippin (wife Kathleen) of Eaton; a sister, Evelyn Austin of Albany; five grandchildren, Kim Vaughan, Wedge Pippin, Brad Pippin, Heather Cline, and Mitch Pippin; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Maxine was preceded in death by three husbands, Harry Pippin, Robert Walker, and Ariel Propes; and six siblings, Manie Horine, Edith Mock, Della Bishop, Kathleen Johnson, Eugene White, and Thelma Riesen.

A funeral service to celebrate Maxine''s life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember two hours prior to service from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
