Merle R. Gagle's Obituary
Merle R. Gagle, 74, of Portland, IN died Sunday June 26, 2011 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland. He was born on October 18, 1936 in Mercer County, OH the son of Walter Aurora and Jessie Marie (Harshman) Gagle.
Merle enjoyed being around others, working, and spending time outdoors.
Surviving relatives include two sisters, Wavoline Witham of Tipton, IN and Elizabeth Iliff of Defiance, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be at a later date. Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN is assisting the family with the arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com
