Merrill Lee Felton, 95, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, in Muncie, Indiana. Born on August 16, 1929, in Blountsville, Indiana, to Ronald and Nellie (Paul) Felton.
Merrill shared 65 cherished years with his wife, Joan (Pease) Felton. He dedicated 31 years to Delco-Remy before retirement and later enjoyed making pizza dough at Pizza Hut, where he worked alongside his daughter, Kim. Known for his curiosity, Merrill loved taking things apart and putting them back together. In later years, he found joy in reading and playing solitaire on his tablet.
Merrill is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Felton; his daughters, Kim Byrd (husband, Larry) and Diana Weidman and family; grandson, Tyler Morrow (fiance, Jessica); and great-grandchildren, Bryler Morrow, Bryson Fairchild, and Emma Bailey.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Ronald and Nellie Felton; his son, Ronald Felton; his brothers, Robert and Kenneth Felton; and his grandson, Brandon Morrow.
Family and friends may call at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd. 3, Muncie IN 47303, on Friday, November 1st, 2024 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
