Michael David Knuckles, 57, of Muncie and formerly of Las Vegas, NV, died Thursday evening, April 23rd, 2015 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born January 14th, 1958 in Elwood, IN and is the son of Wanda June (Montgomery) Knuckles, and the late Arthur Lee Knuckles.
Michael was a 1976 graduate of Wes-Del High School. He received his associate''s degree in Business Management from Ball State University. Michael was an avid golfer, gun collector, and sports enthusiast. He loved horseback riding, four wheeling, boating, and spending time with his family, children ,grandchildren, and his two pet dogs Gibbs and Ziva. Michael enjoyed attending NASCAR and local races with his family and friends. His children had the honor of having their father coach each of them in their sporting events. Michael was a very hard and dedicated worker who gave 110% all the time.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Diahanna Carol (Conrad) Knuckles of Muncie; his mother Wanda June (Montgomery) Knuckles of Hartford City; his children, Nick Knuckles (Erika) of Muncie, Craig Knuckles of Farmland, Makenzie Knuckles of Muncie; step-son''s Miles and Coleman Alexander both of Bloomington; two grandson''s Baker Knuckles of Muncie and Blake Green of Muncie; a granddaughter Bailey Green of Muncie; his sister Melissa Klink (Phil) of Hartford City; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral Services for Michael will be held Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Ronald Elam of Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28th, 2015 at the funeral home, and from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the IU Health Ball Memorial Cancer Center, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
