Mildred M. Brubaker, 104, of Muncie, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Westminster Village.

Mildred was born February 2, 1910 in Portland, Indiana to the late Irving and Lillian Campbell. Mildred graduated from Bryant High School and spent her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Mildred is survived by four granddaughters, Karen Brubaker-Buss (husband Mark) of Muncie, Rebecca Simmons (husband Carl) of TN, Christine Brubaker (partner, Janet Rountree) of GA, and Laura Sparr (husband David) of GA; seven great-grandchildren, Amy Angel, Timothy Green, Joseph Green Katherine Green, Abby Simmons, Skylar Sparr, and Zachary Sparr; three great-great-grandchildren, Emily Rector, Maggie Rector, and Gabriel Leonard; four sisters, Beatrice, Jean, Joan, and Kay; and a brother, Harley.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brubaker; son, Harold Brubaker; and four siblings, Marge, Orla, Harold, and Norman.

A funeral service to celebrate Mildred''s life will be held at 10:00am Monday, February 10, 2014, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie. Burial will follow in Green Park Cemetery in Portland, Indiana.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 2:00pm to 4:00pm Sunday, February 9, 2014 and one hour prior to services Monday at Garden View Funeral Home.
