Mildred Jean Carman, 84, of Muncie, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 9, 2012 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born on November 26, 1927 in McVeytown, PA the daughter of Charles Franklin and Myrtle (Whistler) Kerr. On December 10, 1960 she married Carl Carman.
She was a member of the South Foursquare Gospel Church. She loved the Lord and served him many years. She enjoyed flowers, animals, camping and Church Activities. She was the love of her husband''s life.
Surviving relatives include her loving husband, Carl Carman; three sons, Charles Carman (fianc, Beth); Daniel Carman; Clyde Carman (Sharon); one daughter, Patricia "Patty" Stader (Thomas) all of Muncie, IN; one sister, Margaret Jane Singletary of Middletown, OH; a nephew, Michael "Mike" Singletary, 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Harry "Butch" John Noble, Jr.; one daughter, Peggy Jo Ramsey; and brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to ARF (Animal Rescue Fund).
