Mildred Faye Rollins, 87, of Muncie, died early Thursday morning, April 17th, 2014 at the Brookeside Haven Nursing Facility; she was born July 4th, 1926 in Muncie, and was the daughter of the late Harvey & Susan (Sims) Driscoll.
Mildred worked for several area grocery stores, including Marsh and Ross''s. She was a member of the sympathy club and AARP. Mildred loved shopping, visiting with friends, being with her family, and especially being with her dog Abby.
Mildred is survived by her two children, Glenda Aul of Parker City, and Larry W. Stith (Karen) of Clearwater, FL; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister Lillian Mitchell; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Rollins, and five brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Mildred will be held Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
