Mildred Marie Randall, 96, of Selma died Tuesday afternoon July 23rd, 2013 at Willow Bend Living Center. She was born October 21st, 1916 in Fillmore, IL and was the daughter of the late Orin & Pluma (Chesser) May.
Mildred enjoyed traveling, quilting, reading, and watching sports. She was an admirer of the Civil War and WW II. Mildred was a proud supporter of the WW II Museum in Washington DC.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Marlaine "Marty" Walters of Muncie; nine grandchildren, Brian (Tina) Coulter of Muncie, John Coulter of Eaton, Holli (Greg) Neal of Springport, Heidi (Andy) Zickgraf of Muncie, Ann (Bill) Matlock of New Palestine, Tom (Anette) Walters of Selma, Jeff Guy of Muncie, Julie (John) Troup of Muncie, and Joe ( Tiffany) Guy of Muncie; seventeen great-grandchildren; a sister Evalyn Clark of Albany; a son-in-law Jim Coulter of Eaton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Nadine A. Guy, and Sharolyn M. Coulter; husbands John W. White and Frank Randall; brother Jim May; son-in-law Chet Walters.
Funeral Services for Mildred will be held Friday, July 26th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Rush officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 26th, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Muncie Mission with envelopes available at the funeral home.
