Millie Frances Sebastian, age 89, of Muncie, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Golden Living Center. She was born August 14, 1922 in Owenton, KY to Earl and Mary (Burgess) Henderson. She was a Cafeteria Worker at Ball Memorial Hospital for many years until her retirement. Millie loved to play BINGO and spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Alma Blankenship (husband Nathan) of Muncie; daughter-in-law, Nancy Sebastian of Muncie; brother Watson Burgess (wife Pam) of Madison, IN; grandchildren, Melissa Waugh (husband Mike), Kellie Sparks (husband Victor), Tammi Sebastian, Jeffery Scott Sebastian, Rob Johnson (wife Jackie) all of Muncie, Teresa Nevarez (husband Steven) of Georgia; 12 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Alvia Sebastian, daughter Brenda Johnson, brother Dennis Henderson, sisters, Earline Jones, Alice Powell, Rachel Jones, and Ardith Earls.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3 Muncie, IN 47303 with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
