Morris E. "Eddie" Rhye, age 66, of Muncie passed away on Friday October 18, 2013 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. Born on July 27, 1947, in Hopkins County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Boze) Rhye.
Eddie was a Muncie resident for over 30 years and had most recently worked at Ben Zeigler scrap metals in Muncie prior to his retirement. "He was an easygoing man who enjoyed life and everyone. He will be missed tremendously."
Survivors include loving wife Brenda Rhye of Muncie; children Jennifer Jones of Monroe,OH, Jessica Rhye of Muncie, and Dawayne Rhye of Kentucky; grandchildren Kailee Nicole Amos and Dakota James Rhye both of Muncie; sisters Debbie Charmichale and Tina Huffman; brothers Danny and Harold Rhye.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Eddie Rhye and Dorothy Siscineros.
Friends may call on Wednesday October 23, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. Indiana 3, Muncie.
Funeral services for Eddie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 24, 2013 at the funeral home with calling 1 hour prior. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
