Nancy K. Hoover, 99, of Redkey, died early Tuesday morning, May 22, 2018 at Bethel Pointe Health Campus. She was born June 13, 1918 in Losantville, IN and was the daughter of the late Lewis & Margaret (Smullen) Johnson.

Nancy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and aunt to her family. She had a great love and gift of music. She enjoyed playing the piano, saxophone and her favorite was the organ. Nancy always had a smile and could brighten anyone's day. She had been a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She was strong her love and faith in God and shared it with everyone, she loved being with and spending time with family and friends. Nancy loved to garden and raise flowers. She worked for many years in the Banking Industry. Nancy was an avid diehard IU Basketball Fan.

Nancy is survived by her niece Vicki Gaddis (Bill) of Yorktown, three nephews Greg and Dan Johnson of Orlando, FL and Tim Johnson of Albany; a brother Bill Johnson of Orlando, FL; two great-nephews Christopher Johnson of Orlando, FL and Ryan Haas (Kristen) of Fishers, IN; two great-nieces Christina Wiles (Chad) of MI and Traci Kapsalis (Dean) of Carmel; several great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hoover and a sister Margaret Guy.
