Nancy K. McKinley, 89, of Muncie, passed away on Saturday, October 17th, 2026, at Signature Healthcare. She was born in New Castle, Indiana on May 19th, 1937, to Irvin and Zillah (Mock) Erhart. She married Jack McKinley in 1955, and he preceded her in death.

Nancy graduated from Dunkirk High School and was a self-employed beautician most of her life.

Nancy was a former member of First Baptist Church of Eaton. She was also a member of the Eaton Town Board, where she was the first woman to hold that position, Indiana Job’s Daughters, and Gamma Nu sorority. Nancy will be remembered for her gentle soul and giving to those in-need.

She is survived by her sisters, Deborah (Thomas) Armstrong, Mary McKinley, and Winnie Shocklee; three grandchildren, Skylar Shocklee, Alec Dillard, and Jackson Workman; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin Erhart and Zillah (Mock) Williamson; husband, Jack McKinley; two sons, Allen McKinley and Tony McKinley; and brother, Terry Erhart.

The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, October 26th, 2026, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN 47303.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Wilkerson officiating.

Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
