Mrs. Nancy Lou Booher Moore, age 71, of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Moore was born in West Lafayette, Indiana on April 20, 1940 to the late Harold A. Booher and the late Elsie Marie Jarvis Booher.
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Harriett Lynn; brother-in-law, Garland Miller. Mrs. Moore retired from Wachovia Bank. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Griffin. Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband of 51 years, Max Moore; children and their spouses, Melissa and Alan Humble of Hoover, Alabama, Eric and Rita Moore of Charlottesville, Virginia; grandchildren, Andrew F. Baker, Evan A. Baker, Will M. Moore, and Gracie Moore; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Bonnie Booher of Muncie, Indiana; sister, Norma Miller of Muncie, Indiana; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Jake Thompson; several nieces and nephews
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nancy Moore will be conducted on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Garden View Funeral Home in Muncie, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Gardens of Memory. Friends may visit the family on Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, Georgia 30067 or to Brightmoor Hospice, Post Office Box 1570, Griffin, Georgia 30224 in memory of Mrs. Nancy Moore.
