Nancy Lee Sebastian passed away peacefully at home on February 21st, 2023, listening to Elvis while surrounded by her loving family and fur babies. Nancy was born in Muncie, IN, in December of 1943 to parents Walt and Evelyn (Turner) Claspell. She was a 1961 graduate of Muncie Central High School and was a proud Bearcat who was known for painting huge purple Bearcats on her picture window during tourney season.

She married the love of her life, Alvia R. Sebastian, in Carrollton, KY, in 1963 and soon welcomed two children, Tammi and Scott. Nancy was a homemaker for many years, but also worked at Cisco's Greenhouse and then at CVS for 25 years prior to her retirement.

Nancy enjoyed reading, camping and hanging out out with her family, floating in her pool, and she loved to dance. Over her 79 years she developed lifelong friendships who became her family, including friends of her children. She had a smile that would light up a room, loved to laugh and was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Tammi Sebastian (Muncie) and Jeffery Scott (Jill) Sebastian (Anderson); sister June Anne Caudill; sister-in-law Alma (Kenny) Blankenship; 5 grandchildren Dustin Harless, Tyler (Ashley) Pullen, Cameron Sebastian, Lily Thomas and Jonathan Thomas; 5 great- grandchildren Elliot, Easton, Isabelle, Lilliann and Ezekiel; multiple nieces, nephews, and great friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alvia Sebastian in 1990.

Calling will be on Wednesdy, March 1, 2023, from 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. Service will be at 1:00 P.M. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. St. Rd. 3, Muncie, IN. with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will Follow at Gardens Of Memory.
