Nathanial Darkus Kelly, 20, of Winchester, joined his dad in heaven, early Wednesday morning, June 12th, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 21st, 1992 in Muncie, and was the son of Terri Shanna Conatser (Brown) and the late Harold Richard Kelly.
Nathan was a 2011 graduate of Monroe Central High School. He had a heart of gold, and was a very loving, caring, and giving person. Nathan loved to play pranks on his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time especially with his Grandma Brown.
Nathan is survived by his mother Terri Conatser and step-father Bradley of Muncie; sister Shannon Grimes (Rob) of Selma; brother Joe Bonshire of Muncie; step-sister Kyra Conatser of Parker City; three nieces, Emily Grimes of Selma, Rebecca Bonshire of Muncie, and Bethany Bonshire; two nephews Jeremiah Bonshire of Muncie, and Willie Bonshire; grandmothers Vontrice Brown of Selma, and Sue Gregory of Muncie; step-grandparents, Jim & Rose Conatser of Muncie; very close friends, Junior & Charlene Kent and family of KY; his loving pet dog Zelda; several uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of many friends also survive. In addition to his father Rick Kelly in 2006, he is preceded in death by an aunt Jo Carr in 2009, an uncle Jerry Brown in 1986, and his maternal grandfather A.L. Brown in 1994.
Funeral Services for Nathan will be held Monday, June 17th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 16th, 2013 and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to IU Riley''s Children''s Hospital, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
