Nile Ward Zimmerman of Mooreland, Indiana passed away at the age of 83 in Plainfield, Indiana on Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 25, 1938 to the late Clarence and Pauline (Clark) Zimmerman.

Nile enjoyed deer and squirrel hunting, hunting trips, trapping, and shooting guns. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, including his brothers and his grandkids. He worked for General Motors as a millwright for more than 30 years.

Nile is survived by two sons, Phillip Zimmerman of New Castle, Indiana and Terry Zimmerman of Springport, Indiana; two daughters, Nila Meese of Losantville, Indiana and Toby King of Mooreland, Indiana; two brothers, Jerry Zimmerman of Muncie, Indiana and Mark Zimmerman of Cowan, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

Nile was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Pauline (Clark) Zimmerman; two brothers; and six sisters, Olive Redwine, Edna Hoyt, Joann Burnnett, Mary Anderson, Sherry Stine, and Dawn Huber.
