Norma L. Fullhart, 88, of Muncie, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Norma was born September 10, 1925 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Russell and Maudline Maria Flesher. She graduated in 1943 from Royerton High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from St. John Hospital in Anderson. Norma worked as a Registered Nurse for the office of Dr. Robert Peacock for 38 years, retiring in 1998.

Norma was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church where she attended for 42 years. She was also a member of Gamma Beta Pi Omicron Sorority and the Women''s Chapter of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and spending time with her cats.

Norma is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, John Fullhart; their two children, David Fullhart (wife Jean Ann) of Muncie and Kathleen Vaughn (husband Ray) of Kearney, MO; three grandchildren, James Fullhart (wife Lisa) of Muncie and Laura and Christopher Vaughn of Kearney, MO; a great-granddaughter, Emma Vaughn of New Castle, PA; two nieces, Cindy Baxter (husband Rex) and Deidra Imes; a nephew, Rusty Clements; and several great nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Alice and Robert Clements.

A funeral service to celebrate Norma''s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 18, 2014 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie. Pastor Vicky Perkins and Pastor Rusty Clements will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember two hours prior to service from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Monday at Garden View Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Gethsemane United Methodist Church or St. Jude''s Hospital for Children with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
