Olga (Cobble) Roy, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2008 under hospice care.
Born in Armithwaite, Tennessee, she moved to Anderson, IN in 1941, and then to Muncie, IN, retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1976, then moved to Pinellas Park and Largo, FL. She enjoyed traveling, crafting, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Diana Harmon (Charles) of Largo, FL, and Kathy Nichols (Darrell) of Muncie; a brother, J.C. Pierce (Belinda) of Muncie, IN; she was a wonderful grandmother to 7 grandchildren, Kim Harvey of Pinellas Park, FL, Julie Rambo of New Port Richey, FL, Pearson Johnson III of Allen Park, MI, Angie Zimmers of Muncie, Billy Cobble Jr. of New Hampshire, Traci Arruda and Jada Dill of Rhode Island; a loving "Grammie" to 15 great-grandchildren; she was also a "Special Mom" to Vicky Carnley in Okeechobee, FL, and Walter Hatfield of Bloomington, IN. Preceded in death by 2 husbands, Strother Cobble and Oba Leonard Roy; a son, Billy M. Cobble. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, with Rev. Howard Fights officiating. Internment will be in the Gardens of Memory, Muncie, IN.
Calling will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
