Ollie Ruth McGregor, 83, of Muncie, went to be with Jesus, Monday, November 6th, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born August 8th, 1934 in Knoxville, TN, and was the daughter of the late Ottis Augustus & Florence (Sutter) Woods.
Ollie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who loved her family dearly. She was a member of Full Gospel Temple Church and had been employed with Indiana Glass for 4 years.
Ollie is survived by two sons David McGregor (Menna) of Muncie, and Mark McGregor (Jan) of Selma; two daughters, Julie and Deborah McGregor of Plano, TX; four grandchildren, Caleb McGregor, Brittany McGregor, Samuel McGregor, and Lychell Ford (Aaron) all of Muncie; three great-grandchildren Raelyn Ford, Aria Ford, and Ezekai Ford all of Muncie; two sisters Stella Brown of Muncie and Betty Teal of Macy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard James McGregor on July 29th, 2014; a son Richard James McGregor Jr.; a granddaughter Nicole McGregor; a grandson Michael Christopher McGregor.
Funeral services for Ollie will be held Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at the funeral home.
