Patricia "Pat" Markley, 69, of Marion, IN died Sunday January 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born on July 31, 1940 in Muncie, IN the daughter of John K. and May (Hahn) Hannon. On December 26, 1957 she married Ray Markley.
She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Ray Markley of Marion, IN; two sons and one daughter, Robert Markley of Gas City, IN; Raymond Markley, Jr. of Van Buren, IN; Lisa Dowman (husband: Tim) of Marion, IN; four sisters, Peggy Back of Muncie, IN; Donna Hicks of Muncie, IN; Yonda Strunk of Eaton, IN; Betty Rose Wiley of Muncie, IN, one brother, John Hannon, Jr. (wife: Nancy) of Muncie, IN; six grandchildren, Robert Markley, Jr. of Gas City, IN; Cheryl Markley of Virginia; Craig Markley of Gas City, IN; Corey Markley of Gas City, IN; Melissa Markley of Marion, IN; Tasha Dowman of Marion, IN; three great-grandchildren, Ethan Markley, Hailey Markley, and Colton Markley.
She was preceded in death my her parents and one brother, Joe Hannon
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 7, 2010 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel of Memories 10703 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Entombment will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cancer Society of Grant County.
