Patricia Ann Harding (Miller) of Three Rivers, MI, formerly of Muncie, IN, and Clearwater, FL, passed away at Rose Harbor Hospice, Kalamazoo, MI, on Wednesday December 25, 2013. She was born June 29, 1934, to Gail and Berniece Miller (Ayers) in LaGrange, IN.
Pat graduated from LaGrange High School in 1952 and earned her Associate''s Degree from International Business College, Fort Wayne, IN in 1953. In 1955, she married her high school sweetheart, Richard Harding, whom she was married to for 34 years before his death in 1989. She has two children, Kathy Goodwin (Charles), Vicksburg, MI and Brent Harding, Muncie, IN and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She retired from Ball State University in 1994 after 21 years as an Executive Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Social Director for the President, and prior to that was Secretary to the University Senate. She had been a secretary all of her working life and held herself to the highest standards and work ethics anyone could ever ask for.
For the last nine years she has enjoyed being the "Queen Bee" of her Chatty Hattie Red Hat Society group. She shared many outings, card games and get-togethers with her group of "girl friends". She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and dominoes.
Pat was a member of West Mendon United Methodist Church, Mendon, MI.
Visitation will take place on Monday December 30, 2013 from 12:00p.m. - 2:00p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. Indiana 3, Muncie, IN. Funeral services for Patricia will be held at 2:00p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Dick, at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
