Patricia Ann Monroe, age 57, of North Bend, WA, formerly of Dunkirk, IN, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah, WA. She was born March 11, 1954 in Elizabeth, NJ to Wenzel P. and Annetta A. (Parton) Dousa. She graduated from Muncie Central High School with the Class of 1972. She loved to crochet and watch movies. She was also an avid bowler. Patty was a CNA for many years and will be missed by all she loved and knew.
Patty is survived by her father, Wenzel Dousa; loving companion, Phil Turple, of North Bend, WA; sons, Greg Monroe, (wife Stacy), of Montpelier, IN and Marc Isenburg, of Dunkirk, IN; daughter, Kim Richgruber, (husband Matt), of Greenwood, IN, special daughter, Chelsea Beatrice, of Muncie; brothers, Wenzel Dousa, of Muncie, Timothy Dousa, (wife Beth), of Muncie, and Kevin Dousa, (wife Nancy) of Muncie; aunt, Karolee Glassman, (husband Sandy) of Lebanon, NJ; six grandchildren; special father, Clarence Jans, ( wife Sheryl) of Muncie; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annetta and one brother, Steven Dousa.
Funeral services will be held November 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303 with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor''s choice.
