Patricia Joann Collins, 83, of Jasper, Indiana died early Sunday morning, April 3, 2016 at Good Samaritan Society Northwood Retirement Community. She was born November 23, 1932 in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Carlton & Gracie (Sanders) Wilson.
Patricia was a housekeeper at French Lick Hotel and enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping and going to car races. She especially loved taking care of kids.
Patricia is survived by a two daughters, Judy Martin of Loogootee, and Carol Humbert (Mark) of Jasper,; four sons, David Collins SR (Ann) of Eaton, Danny Collins SR of Shoals, Frank Collins SR of Hartford City, and Ronald Collins SR. of Shoals; one brother Jerry Wilson of Galveston; nineteen grandchildren , forty one great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Bill Collins JR, two daughters Beverly Sue Collins and Freda Bell, one brother and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Funeral services for Patricia will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Deta Starbuck Lasley officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Eaton Volunteer Fire Department with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
