Patsy J. Epperson, 69, of Muncie passed on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born May 26, 1949 in Byrdstown, TN and was the daughter of the late Stanley N. Jr. & Ruby Glee (Flowers-Grizzle) Cope.

Patsy had been employed at Ball Memorial Hospital for several years. She was a faithful member of Forest Park Nazarene church. Patsy was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Archie W. "Bill" Epperson, Jr; her five children Lisa Clark (Ronnie), William Epperson (Kristen), Lonnie Epperson (Charlene), Kelly Epperson (Dora) and Scott Epperson (Shauna) all from Muncie; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two brothers Mike Cope (Wilma) and Danny Grizzle (Shellie) and a sister Connie Williams (Stephen) all of Muncie; several nieces and nephews and a family friend Dawn Edwards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild and a brother Kenneth Cope.

Funeral Services for Patsy will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park Nazarene Church, 2105 West Memorial Drive, Muncie, IN 47302 with Pastor David Delk officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the church. Flowers may be sent to the Forest Park Nazarene Church in care of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home.
